There is provided a twin turbine type turbocharger in which a compressor side is disposed at the center of a turbo side composed of a first turbine housing and a second turbine housing. The compressor includes: a symmetric compressor impeller composed of one compressor impeller 19 and the other compressor impeller 20; and a compressor housing which encapsulates the symmetric compressor impeller and includes one air chamber enclosing the air suction port of the one compressor impeller and the other air chamber enclosing the air suction port of the other compressor impeller, at the respective side faces of the compressor housing, and also includes an air inlet 4 communicating with the one air chamber and the other air chamber and a discharge outlet 5 for the air accelerated by the symmetric compressor impeller.
