Abstract:
To enable the manufacture of a two-cycle engine with a compact metal mold so as to manufacture the engine at low cost.
In this two-cycle engine (1 and 120), at least one wall part of scavenge air passages (9 and 10) forms an undercut when viewed from a crankcase (4) in the direction of the cylinder longitudinal axis (L). The wall part is defined by a separate member (a cylinder sleeve 20) pushed in cylinders (2, 50, 70, 90 and 121) from the crankcase (4) side.
