Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve engine efficiency by working a hole diameter in a multiple hole passage provided on the regenerator side in an operation medium passage for connecting the regenerator of a two cylinder type stirling engine used in air-conditioning, hot water supply, power, and the like and compressed space to each other, to a different diameter therefrom so as to uniformalize flow speed of the operation medium which flows in each hole.
CONSTITUTION: In a cylinder type stirling engine, an expansion side cylinder 1 and a compressing side cylinder 9 are provided in a housing, and pistons 3, 5 are stored therein. The expansion side piston 3 and the compressing side piston 5 are connected to respective cross guides 11, 13, and both cross guides 11, 13 are connected to a crank mechanism 15. A multiple hole passage 35 is provided on the regenerator 25 side in an operation medium passage for connecting the regenerator 25 and compressed space 21 to each other. In this case, the position of each hole on the multiple hole passage 25 is arranged on uniform pitch on a circumference, each hole diameter is changed, and flow speed of operation medium which flows in each hole is unified. It is thus possible to reduce pressure loss so as to improve flow speed, and improve engine performance.
