Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a vibration damping effect for a crank shaft by adding damping function of a friction force on a two-mass type fly wheel.
SOLUTION: A first fly wheel 5 is manufactured by effecting press processing of a plate and a cylinder part 16, a ring groove 5a, and a friction surface 5b are formed on the central side. A disc 21 to be brought into dynamic friction is fitted in the cylinder part 16 togetherwith friction rings 22 and 23 and brought into pressure contact with the friction surface 5b through the force of a coned disc spring 25 to form a friction coupling part 11. One-sided contact of the friction ring 22 with the friction surface 5b is prevented by the ring groove 5a. The outer end of the disc 21 to be brought into dynamic friction is engaged with a spring device 12 and torque is transmitted to the driven side through a spring device 12, a driven disc 33, and a second fly wheel 14. This constitution damps a part of vibration rotation of a crank shaft 4 by the friction force of a friction coupling part 11.
