Abstract:
To provide a two- or multi-stage parking device with which carriers can move horizontally at boarding height (ground surface), gaps between adjacent carriers in the width direction can be reduced, and height of vehicles that can be accommodated in the pit can be significantly increased while maintaining the depth of the pit.SOLUTION: The two- or multi-stage parking device includes a lifting drive device 10, a balance mechanism 20, and a fixing member 30. The lifting drive device 10 is installed on the rear side of a carrier 2 and raises and lowers the rear end portion 2b of the carrier 2 between an upper limit and a lower limit. The balance mechanism 20 is located below the boarding height FL, and synchronizes the lifting and lowering of the front and rear sides of the carrier 2. The fixing member 30 is provided below the boarding height FL across a front gap from the carrier 2 in the pit, and has a horizontal lower surface 30a. The carrier 2 further includes a front up mechanism 40. The front up mechanism 40 comes into contact with the horizontal lower surface 30a near the upper limit, and by rising to the upper limit, raises the height of the front end portion 2a to the boarding height FL.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
