Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize safe and sure ligation of a blood vessel, by providing a track with two arms which are combined around a blood vessel to be ligated and a clip to which the top of the track is connected, by relatively moving the both and providing a form to close the track.
CONSTITUTION: This ligation clip consists of a movable polymer material and is composed of a track 10 to be positioned around a blood vessel 11 to be ligated and a clip 12 which is connected to the track 10 and consists of a relatively strong polymer material. The track 10 has two curved arms 14 and 16, which have many small windows 20 respectively, and a sphere shape part projected via a neck part of the top of the track 10. A connecting part with two posts 36 which extends to the opposite direction is fixed to the sphere shape part and the connecting part is connected in a slender slot 64 of the clip 12. The track 10 and the clip 12 are relatively moved and the blood vessel is ligated in a form the tracks 10 are accepted in the clip 12.
