Title:
TWO-PLATE CONSTRAINING TOOL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3231712
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constrain two planes of a tool so that it can correspond to high speed cutting so that a collar intervened between the flange end of a BT shank and the main spindle end does not become loose or come off.
SOLUTION: With regard to this two-plane constraining tool contrived to constrain a tool by two planes by simultaneously sticking a tapered part 15 of the BT shank 14 to be inserted into the tapered bore 12 of a main spindle 10 to the inner circumferential surface and a flange end 16a of the BT shank 14 to a main spindle end 10a, a groove 18 is formed on the flange end 16a and collars 20a, 20b including protrusions 22a, 22b engaging with the groove 18 are intervened between the flange end 16a of the BT shank 14 and the main spindle 10a so that the flange end 16a may be constrained by the main spindle end 10a through the collars 20a, 20b.
