Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-way optical amplifier transmission path and a searching method capable of searching a faulty point using an optical reflection tester.
SOLUTION: One or more transit amplifiers 3a-3c are connected to a first two-way amplifier transmission path 1, and one or more transit amplifiers 4a-4c are connected to a second two-way amplifier transmission path 2 similarly that is paired with the first two-way amplifier transmission path 1, and one or more optical transmission paths 5a-5c are disposed so as to optically connect the first two-way amplifier transmission path 1 to the second two-way amplifier transmission path 2. Scattering lights occurring during the test period for searching the faulty point can be returned to the test position through the transmission paths by disposing the optical transmission paths that optically connects between the first two-way amplifier transmission path 1 and the second two-way amplifier transmission path 2.
