To provide a means for mechanically crushing and sterilizing microorganisms and pathogens in a liquid passing through an ultrasonic device by utilizing the impact pressure at the time of collapse of the cavitation air bubbles generated by ultrasonic waves.
This ultrasonic device has a structure in which an inflow chamber and an outflow chamber are separated by a partition and the chambers are connected by flow regulating pores. The flow regulating pores are arranged coaxially with a vibrator horn. The tip of the horn is composed of a magnetic metal and has a magnet at an outflow port. The ultrasonic device has such basic structure and is arrayed with a plurality of the vibrators and the flow regulating pores. The particulates and microorganisms in the liquid are mechanically crushed by such device, and if the microorganisms are harmful bacteria, sterilization can be performed as well.
