To solve the problems with the prior art that, though, for example, a method wherein an object substance is dissolved by placing it in a liquid or a pipeline and causing a liquid to flow and a method wherein the rate of dissolution is increased by increasing the surface area of the substance are known, both a remarkable control of the rate of dissolution and the control of it when the substance is not used are impossible and hence the substance is dissolved when water is remaining even when the substance is not used; the ratio of the substance not effectively used increases; the life of the substance is shortened; and the amount of the substance placed has to be increased for ensuring the life.
The object substance is dissolved by placing it in an ultrasonic wave propagation medium and irradiating it with ultrasonic waves.
