Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic irradiator which enables reducing of errors in a spatial relative relationship of intensity in vivo of an ultrasonic wave for treatment.
SOLUTION: A group 2 of piezo-electric elements is provided to irradiate a subject 6 with an ultrasonic wave for treatment and an ultrasonic probe 3 for imaging is provided to transmit an ultrasonic wave for imaging into the subject 6 while receiving a reflected wave from the subject 6. A comparator means 13 is provided to compare a first received signal pertaining to a reflected wave of the ultrasonic wave for treatment received by the ultrasonic probe 3 for imaging and a second received signal pertaining to a reflected wave of the ultrasonic wave for imaging received by the ultrasonic probe 3 for imaging.
