Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor drive device capable of arbitrarily adjusting the operation speed.
SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic motor derive device generating ultrasonic vibration by supplying AC drive signal to an electromechanical energy converting element and driving an object to be driven by the ultrasonic vibration, provided are a latch circuit 4 outputs intermittently in a burst from an alternating voltage having a frequency f2 higher than the frequency f1 of the ultrasonic vibration, and integrating means which integrates the output of the power MOS-FETs 7 to 10 and supplies a drive signal corresponding to the alternating voltage to the electric-mechanical energy converting element.
