To provide an ultrasonic system and a method for filtering a clutter signal from Doppler signal.

This ultrasonic system includes: a Doppler signal acquiring unit, which transmits and receives ultrasonic signals to and from a target object to acquire Doppler signal; and a signal processing unit, which performs filtering upon the Doppler signal with a predetermined clutter filter cutoff frequency to output a filtering Doppler signal, computes IFR (an input signal power to filtered input signal power rate) of the Doppler signal and the filtering Doppler signal, and selectively performs modulation of the Doppler signal or alteration of the clutter filter cutoff frequency according to the IFR to eliminate the clutter signal from the Doppler signal.
