Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy convergence efficiency in an acoustic lens by forming the shape of a reflecting surface made of a partial surface of a solid member into a shape that longitudinal wave ultrasonic wave radiated from an ultrasonic wave originating source completely reflects in liquid and converges into a preliminarily stipulated focus of longitudinal wave ultrasonic wave.
SOLUTION: An opening surface to be an acoustic radiation surface of an ultrasonic wave originating source 1 is formed into a circular shape, the opening surface is made to come into contact with liquid and ultrasonic wave is radiated in liquid from the ultrasonic wade originating source 1. In liquid, a solid member in which a partial surface is formed into a partial shape of a paraboloid of revolution is arranged and the partial surface of this solid member is formed as a reflecting surface 4 reflecting ultrasonic wave radiated in liquid from the ultrasonic wave originating source 1 in liquid. The shape of this reflecting surface 4 is formed into a shape that longitudinal wave ultrasonic wave radiated from the ultrasonic originating source 1 reflects in liquid and converges into a preliminarily stipulated focus 5. The shape of the reflecting surface 4 is formed into a shape that phase shift amount according to reflection when each sound ray is reflected on the reflecting surface 4 become in-phase via each sound ray.
