Title:
ULTRASONOGRAPH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3860862
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an acoustic structure from the surface to the depth of a subject for inspection by providing a separating and detecting means by which, of ultrasonic response signals output from a pulse generating/receiving means, only the ultrasonic response signal that was the first to act on the subject for inspection is separated and detected immediately after the application of a pulse signal.
SOLUTION: A trapezoidal pulse signal 16 controlled by a control signal 28 from a trapezoidal pulse waveform control part 15 is made to branch into two by a branch circuit, and one branch signal 17a is applied to an ultrasonic transducer 4 via an amplifier 3. Ultrasonic vibration produced thereby is made to comes into an object, and an echo signal reflected by its boundary surface with foreign matter is input to a differential amplifier 6 via an attentutor 5. A delay circuit 7 is made to match the other lower branch signal 17b, and the signal is output as a signal 23 from which an applied voltage signal is eliminated. Thus by separating and detecting an ultrasonic response signal immediately after application to the ultrasonic transducer 4, the surface state of the object can be diagnosed with accuracy.
