Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable direct execution of checkup of erasure of a memory cell of a memory cell array and measurement of characteristics thereof without impairing a bonding pad.
CONSTITUTION: Word lines WL1 and WLw connected to gates of memory cells MC1x and MC in a memory cell array 1, a digit line DLK connected to drains thereof, a common grounding line connected to sources thereof and pads PDw1, PDwx, PDd and PDg connected to them respectively in a corresponding manner are provided. Checkup of erasure and measurement of characteristics are conducted by these pads.
