PURPOSE: To obtain the subject coating composition, containing a specific block copolymer, (meth)acryloyl group-containing compound, polar solvent and photoinitiator in a specified proportion and capable of providing films excellent in adhesion and strength.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition, containing (A) a block copolymer composed of a hydrophilic polymer part orienting at a high concentration on the surface side and a hydrophobic polymer part orienting at a high concentration on the substrate side, (B) a compound such as urethane acrylate having ≥2 (meth)acryloyl groups in one molecule, (C) a polar solvent which is a better solvent such as methanol for the hydrophilic polymer part than the hydrophobic polymer part in the aforementioned component (A) and (D) a photoinitiator such as benzoin at (1/9)-(9/1) weight ratio of the above-mentioned components (A)/(B) and suitable as helmet shields, lenses, etc.
