Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wetting during article placing and drawing out in a rainy weather or chain loading in a snow weather by providing a movable lever in the pivot of a base having a permanent magnet in its lower surface, absorbingly fixing the movable lever provided with an adapter as an umbrella base to a car body and fixing the plug of an umbrella pattern.
SOLUTION: A strong permanent magnet 1 is provided in the lower surface of a base 4 in an umbrella base 8 and a pivot 3 is attached to an upper supporting member 2 so as to face sideways. A movable lever 6 is provided in this pivot 3 via a joint 5 having a clicking mechanism and positioned and fixed in stages by the clicking mechanism. An adapter 7 is positioned and fixed by a screw in the movable lever 6 so as to be slid upward. The adapter 7 is attracted to a car body by the permanent magnet 1, a plug 11 attached to the tip of the pattern of an umbrella 10 is fixed to the adapter 7 and then the umbrella 10 is attached so as to be freely attached/detached. Thus, the umbrella base is easily attached in any proper spot of the car body and positioning adjustment is easily performed.
