Title:
UNDERWATER AERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3534491
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to assure an always specified water feed head in spite of a change in the water level of a place where a water suction pipe is installed by following with the change by connecting a floating body and the water suction pipe and moving the suction port of the water suction pipe cooperatively with the change in the water surface.
CONSTITUTION: The upstream water of a dam levee body 11 is admitted by the head from the suction port 1a of the water suction pipe 1 hung down to the floating body 2 into a water feed pipe 10 through an expansion pipe 9 where this water flows. Air is simultaneously sucked from an air suction pipe 1 and, therefore, the water contg. air bubbles enters an air separating vessel 13. Further, the air bubbles gather to the upper part in this air separating vessel 13 to form an air layer. On the other hand, the water from which the air bubbles are removed is released through a release pipe 18 from the lower part. The compressed air of the air layer enters an air diffusion pipe 17 hung down to the floating body 15 through a soft universal pipe 15 from an air feed pipe 14 and is released as aerating air. At this time, the suction pipe 1 and the air diffusion pipe 17 descend respectively and maintain the specified water depth from the water surface 101a when, for example, the water surface 101a of a dam lake 101 falls.
