To provide an improved housing and method where an actuator is compensated, closed water-tight and integrated with a housing part.
The underwater housing is provided with a shell having an inner surface, an outer surface, and an opening part extending between the surfaces. The actuator is arranged within the opening part. The actuator is provided with an outer member arranged outside the opening part and an inner member arranged inside the opening part. The actuator is provided with a torsion bar for connecting the members to the shell. The members are pivotable between an initial position and a pivoting position with respect to a shaft passing through the torsion bar. When the members are at the initial position, the torsion bar is in a relaxed state. When the members are at the pivoting position, the torsion bar is in a tense state. An outer part is integrated with the shell and the actuator, and seals the opening part.
