Title:
UNDERWATER WORK APPARATUS POSTURE MONITOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2938329
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To monitor accurately an inclination or a depth of an underwater work apparatus without relying on a length of a suspending wire of the apparatus or without laying down a sensor cable.
CONSTITUTION: An X axis directional inclination sensor 5, a Y axis directional inclination sensor 6 and a depth sensor 7 as occasion demands are installed in an underwater work apparatus, and an inclination or a depth of the apparatus is converted into a frequency control signal by a CPU 4. An output frequency of a variable frequency signal output circuit 13 is controlled by this signal, and is converted into a frequency, and is proparated as an ultrasonic wave from an echo sounder transmitter 1 through a transmitting part 2, and this ultrasonic wave is received by an echo sounder receiver 8 on the work vessel side, and after it is amplified by a receiving part 9, the frequency is detected by a frequency detecting part 10, and the inclination or the depth is calculated from the frequency by an operation part 11, and it is displayed by a display part 12.
