PURPOSE: To provide a uniform for an ice hockey player which is light weighted, excellent in strength, creep-resistance, weather resistance, wear-resistance and hurt-prevention and holds moderate flexibility.

CONSTITUTION: The uniform in the title is formed by a knit cloth mainly composed of molecular orientation forming body of ultrahigh molecular weight ethylene series polymer, the limiting viscosity of which is at least 5d/g. By using the above specified knit clith, it is possible to provide a uniform for an ice hockey player which is light weighted, excellent in hurt-prevention and holds moderate flexibility. The uniform for an ice hockey player is hardly damaged by collision and falling caused by violet motions peculiar to an ice hockey or violent contact with a skate blade, stick, pack and so on, so that it is favorably used as a uniform having very high safety.
