Abstract:

To provide a unit for a biochemical analysis capable of preventing the generation of noise caused by the dispersion of electron rays (beta rays) emitted from a radioactive labeled substance, in biochemical analysis data even in the case of generating the biochemical analysis data by bringing the unit for the biochemical analysis into close contact with a stimulable phosphor layer to expose the stimulable phosphor layer by the radioactive labeled substance, and irradiating the stimualble phosphor layer with exciting light to photoelectrically detect stimualble light emitted from the stimulable phosphor layer in the unit for the biochemical analysis acquired by forming a plurality of spot-like regions including a specific bonding substance known on a base array and the length, composition, and the like of a base, with high density on a substrate, specifically bonding a substance of organism origin labeled by the radioactive labeled substance, to the specific bonding substance included in the spot-like regions, and carrying out selective labeling.

This unit for the biochemical analysis is provided with an adsorptive region formed of an adsorptive material, and comprises two or more unit chips formed with energy damping regions for damping radiation and/or light, around the adsorptive region.
