Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a floating aggregate from floating up while a hood is totally closed and to reduce sliding resistance so as to smoothly open and close the hood by enabling the hood to be folded without energizing the floating aggregate upward.
CONSTITUTION: A floating aggregate 16 is vertically movably connected via a coupling link 17 to a horizontal aggregate 15 connected to a horizontal- aggregate supporting slider 9 on a guide rail 8 and a hood 4 is folded or opened by the longitudinal movements of both aggregates 15,16. A link supporting slider 10 which freely longitudinally moves and inclines along the guide rail 8 is provided and an elevation means A for elevating the coupling link by means of movement relative to the link is provided between the link supporting slider 10 and the coupling link 17. A stopper 34 for locking the link supporting slider 10 is provided on that portion of the guide rail toward which the link supporting slider 10 opens and moves while the hood is being closed, and a stopper release means B for unlocking the slider 10 from the stopper 34 when the slider 9 is opened and moved close to the slider 10 is provided between the sliders 9 and 10.
