Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower/ upper extremity blood pressure index measuring apparatus that allows easily recognizing the time lag between the time when the value of blood pressure in the lower extremity is determined and the time when the value of blood pressure in the upper extremity is determined.
SOLUTION: Distributions of peak values P1R, P1L, P2 at cuff pulse waves detected one after another during sphygmomanometry are displayed on three two-dimensional graphs 104, 106, 108, and a mark Δ indicating the elapsed time (t) before the right-foot- side first highest blood pressure value BP1RSYS indicating the highest blood pressure value of the right ankle has been determined, a mark Δ indicating the elapsed time (t) before the left-foot-side first highest blood pressure value BP1LSYS indicating the highest blood pressure value of the left ankle has been determined, and a mark Δindicating the elapsed time (t) before the second highest blood pressure value BP2SYS indicating the highest blood pressure value of the upper arm has been determined are displayed, so that the time lag between the time when the right-foot-side first highest blood pressure value BP1RSYS is determined or the time when the left-foot-side first highest blood pressure value BP1LSYS is determined and the time when the second highest blood pressure value BP2SYS is determined can be visually recognized with ease.
