Abstract:
To provide a new therapeutic agent for hepatitis B virus infection.
This therapeutic agent is an L-enantiometric isomer of cis-1-(2-(hydroxymethyl)-1,3-oxathiolan-5-yl)-5-fluorocytosine represented by formula (I) and its pharmaceutically permissible derivatives, and its use to the treatment of hepatitis B infection is also disclosed.
