Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a specific droloxifene as an active ingredient in order to suppress a morbid state susceptible or partially susceptible to the suppression with esterogen, an antiestrogen or an estrogen agent. SOLUTION: An active amount of a compound represented by the formula (R<1> and R<2> are each methyl or ethyl when both are same and either is methyl or ethyl and the other is H or benzyl when both are different), especially an (E)-1-[4'-(2-alkylaminoethoxy)phenyl]-1-(3'-hydroxyphenyl)-2-phenylbut -1-ene is used. The use of the compound represented by the formula is effective against uterine cancer, adjuvant mammary cancer, breast diseases, male mammary cancer, migraine, incontinence, vaginal atrophy, bladder infection, senile gynecomastia, diabetes, hyperglycemia, wound curing insufficiency, melanoma, impotentia, inflammatory entrophathy, central nervous system(CNS) and gastrointestinal(GI) diseases caused by excess tacykinin, hyposexuality, immunopathy, hypofertility, pulmonary hypertension, acne, seborrhea, autoimmune diseases, etc.
