Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface which suppresses the complexity of operation on a portable data processor.
SOLUTION: The geographic position of the portable data processor is found 50 and user interface environment corresponding to the found position of the portable data processor is selected 54. The selected user interface is started as the user interface environment of the portable data processor. Such a judgement may be made even while the portable data processor is moving. Therefore, the user interface corresponding to the portable data processor in movement is selected and started. Further, position sense data may be provided according to the found position of the portable data processor. Further, the position of the portable data processor may be found by an automatic position determining sensor system.
