Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by enabling to arrange a plurality of accessories connected with an accessory driving shaft compactly in a bank space and without restriction due to a driven part, reducing assembling man-hours of a power transmission mechanism, and eliminating the need of a special-purpose power transmission mechanism for driving the accessory driving shaft in a V-shaped internal combustion engine.
SOLUTION: This V-shaped internal combustion engine is equipped with a cooling water pump 50 and the oil pump 51 arranged in a bank space S formed between a pair of banks. A pump pulley 39 installed to an accessory driving shaft 52 and both of the pumps 50, 51 are arranged on the accessory driving shaft 52 from one end side of the accessory driving shaft 52 in the order of the pump pulley 39, and the both of the pumps 50, 51. The pump pulley 39 arranged outside the bank space S is built in a power transmission mechanism for transmitting a power of a crankshaft to a camshaft.
