Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sucking body for a vacuum cleaner which is small and silent with excellent safety and maintenance property, by which a sucked air stream is widely blown to a rotary cleaning body so as to improve dust collecting performance.
SOLUTION: The rotary cleaning body 5 which is constituted of a member where a member rotated by the air stream and the member for cleaning a surface to be cleaned are commonly used is arranged in an impeller chamber 22 formed in a sucking mainbody and also an entrance nozzle 21 for passing the air stream and an exit nozzle 24 for guiding it are widely formed to the neighborhood of the width direction both end parts of the sucking body. Then, a ventilation path 23 which is adjacent to the impeller chamber 22 and communicate with the chamber 22 with the exit nozzle 24 is formed in the sucking mainbody and the impeller chamber 22 and the ventilation path 23 are respectively opened in the base part of the sucking mainbody.
