Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner in while a cleaner body, although having a rotary pipe provided with a recirculation air duct, can be rotated about an axis at the rotary pipe and leakage of recirculating air at the rotating part of the rotary pipe can be surely prevented.
SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner includes a cleaner body 1 provided with a motor-driven fan and a dust collecting chamber 6 located on the suction side of the motor-driven fan, and a nozzle body 2 connected to the cleaner body 1. A rotary pipe 18 attached at one end to the nozzle main body 17 of the nozzle body 2 and communicated with the dust collecting chamber 6 of the cleaner main body 1 is provided with double inner and outer concentric cylinder portions and is divided into a nozzle-main-body-side rotary pipe 27 and a cleaner-body-side rotary pipe 28 at the inner and outer cylinder portions. The respective inner cylinder portions 27a, 28a and the respective outer cylinder portions 27b, 28b of the nozzle-main-body-side rotary pipe 27 and the cleaner- body-side rotary pipe 28 are held in such a way as to be rotatable about their respective axes while in a mutually fitting, overlapping condition.
