Abstract:
PURPOSE:To kill house ticks on an area to be cleaned by an electric shock, by arranging a sucking item which is brought into contact with the area to be cleaned and sucks dust, and placing a high voltage generating device which applies high voltage to electric spark electrodes arranged at the sucking item. CONSTITUTION:During cleaning an area 2 to be cleaned, the bottom 5 of a sucking item 3 is brought into contact with the area 2, and the sucking item 3 is moved back and forth. Rollers 14 then rotate, and the sucking item 3 slides. A brush 15 brushes away the dust adhering to the area 2, and the dust is sucked from an opening 9 at the bottom 5 of the sucking item 3, cleaning thus being conducted. When a high voltage generating device 12 is switched on during cleaning, commercial voltage is supplied to the high voltage generating device 12 from a power supply 16. High voltage is then generated in the high voltage generating device 12, and applied to needle-like spark electrodes 11. The needle- like spark electrodes then conduct corona discharge to the area 2 to be cleaned, and house ticks on the area 2 to be cleaned are killed by an electric shock.
