To provide a miniaturized ejector type vacuum producing apparatus including plural vacuum suction openings.
The vacuum producing apparatus 10 includes three diffusers 18 (a diffuser 18A and the like) where air supplied from an air supplying opening is sent, a merging passage 36 merging air discharged from each discharge passage of the diffuser 18, six vacuum suction openings 40 (vacuum suction openings 40A, 40D or the like) communicating to the diffusers 18 respectively, and merged air discharge openings 32 (merged air discharge opening 32P, 32S or the like) fewer than the number of vacuum suction openings 40 and provided on the merging passage 36. Since the merging passage 36 is provided, length of necessary pipeline for discharging air can be reduced to simplify the structure. Consequently, the ejector type vacuum producing apparatus can be miniaturized and an installation space can be reduced.
