PURPOSE: To safely perform work, in a carriage whose total unit can be fixed to a road surface without tumbling a car body at the time of loading/unloading of a cargo.

CONSTITUTION: A lower end part of a vacuum cylinder 15 in a vacuum sucking device 14 is grounded, next to actuate a car body lifting driving gear 5 in an extending direction, and a car body 1 and a vacuum cylinder piston are lifted, on the other hand, to actuate a vacuum cylinder lifting driving gear 19 in an extending direction, so as to hold the vacuum cylinder 15 in a grounding condition. Here by placing the vacuum cylinder piston lifted against the vacuum cylinder 15, a vacuum is generated in the vacuum cylinder, to suck the car body 1 fixed to a road surface or the like.
