Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve actuator that can restrain occurrence of damage to a member for fixing a worm wheel to a sleeve.SOLUTION: A valve actuator 10 comprises a driving source 11, and a power transmission mechanism 13 for transmitting driving force of the driving source 11 to a valve element 12, and opens/closes the valve element 12. The power transmission mechanism 13 comprises a worm 17, a worm wheel 19 engaged with the worm 17, and a cylindrical sleeve 20 of which an outer periphery is fitted with the worm wheel 19. The sleeve 20 comprises a protruding part 22 provided circumferentially on an outer periphery. A groove 21 in which the protruding part 22 is fitted is formed in the worm wheel 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
