To provide a valve device capable of surly performing opening and closing operation while attaining a more simple structure, smaller size, lower cost, lighter weight or the like.
In the valve device including a valve element 20 defining a female thread 25c' in a predetermined outer circumferential surface 22 and its axial direction L, a rotary member 32 defining a male thread 32a screwed to the female thread 25c' of the valve element 20, and a driving source 30 driving the rotary member 32, in which a passage 13 is opened and closed by the outer circumferential surface 22a of the valve element 20, the valve element 20 includes a cylindrical valve member 21 defining the outer circumferential surface 22a, and a screw member 25 connected with the valve member 21 to be relatively movable only in a predetermined quantity in the axial direction L and defining the female thread 25c'. According to this, the valve element 20 can surely perform opening and closing operation without being locked by meshing or engagement. Since accurate management of dimensional accuracy is dispensed with, manufacturing cost can be reduced, and resinification of the valve element can be also facilitated.
