Abstract:
To provide a valve that has a cleaning mechanism capable of removing comparatively hard foreign substances, and certainly performing cleaning.SOLUTION: When foreign substances are adhered and deposited to an orifice 51 of a steam trap 90 to cause a clogging state, drain is no longer discharged from the orifice 51 and a bimetal 4 in an intermediate chamber 53 is no longer exposed to high temperature drain, so that the bimetal 4 starts extending. The cleaning bar 2 goes straight in an arrow 106 direction, At a tip end of the cleaning bar 2, a projecting conical portion 29 is formed. Therefore, the cleaning bar 2 moves forward in the arrow 106 direction, thereby making a top portion of the conical portion 29 pierce the foreign substances to break and remove the comparative hard foreign substances.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
