Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and precisely position a valve seat at a port opening section of a cylinder head.
SOLUTION: By casting a cylinder head 21 having a concave part by use of a die, a protrusion 22 for positioning a valve seat is integrally formed at a port opening end section of a cylinder head 21, and the valve seat 22 is bonded by resistance welding after the valve seat 23 is positioned by being guided by this protrusion 22. Also, a valve seat bonding method and its equipment are provided in which the protrusion 22 is machined and removed at a cutting and working stage after casting.
