Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the variable adjustment of a tread and reduce its cost by supporting an inner axle inside an outer axle and also providing a hydraulic cylinder device for driving the inner axle in relation to the outer axle and a lock device for fixing the inner axle in relation to the outer axle respectively. CONSTITUTION:An inner axle 20 rotatably supporting a brake drum 18a on a wheel side on a projected end part thereof is supported slidably and unrotatably inside a cylindrical outer axle 16 with an irregular shape cross section supported by the car-body side members 30a, 30b, 32a, 32b through a leaf spring 10. A hydraulic cylinder device 22 for driving the inner axle 20 in the axial direction is provided on the car-body side including the outer axle 16. Further, a lock device 24 which can fix the inner axle 20 in the axial direc tion in relation to the outer axle 16 is provided. Lock between the outer axle 16 and the inner axle 20 is released by actuating a hydraulic cylinder 34 of the lock device 24 downward. Thereafter, the inner axle 20 is moved outside by the hydraulic cylinder device 22 so that a tread can be expanded.
