Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the running of a travelling machine on a soft/hard road reliable and smooth by mounting plural lug bodies with U-letter shape cross section radially on the ring shape rim of a wheel and also inserting loosely a floating ring whose diameter is larger than that of the ring shape rim in the inner spaces of respective lug bodies. CONSTITUTION:In a wheel 6 fixed on the output shaft 5 of a travelling machine, plural lug bodies 13 with U-letter shape cross section are mounted radially on the ring shape rim 12. A floating ring 16 whose diameter is larger than that of the ring shape rim 12 is inserted loosely in the spaces staying between left/right sides projections 15 of respective lug bodies 13. On a soft field and the like, respective lug projections 15 are thrust through the earth 19 so as to be immersed therein, while a machine body is supported by bringing the ring shape rim 12 in press-contact with the inside surface of the floating ring 16 which does not sink in the earth 19. While, on a hard paved road surface and the like, the floating ring 16 is brought in press-contact with the ring shape rim 12 from the upper side by a press roller not shown in figure and the lower end 28 of the floating ring 16 is thrust out to the part lower than the top ends 27 of the lug projections 15 so as to be in direct contact with the earth.
