Abstract:

To provide a method by which predicting allowable variation range, designing of the pathway of a wire harness with higher precision can be made without complicated calculations, and provide its device and its program.

Based on a pathway length of the basic pathway 1 previously designed, respective binding position and binding direction by a binding member 2, and the minimum bending radius, prediction of variation range 3 of the basic path 1 of the binding members 2 is calculated, and this range 3 is displayed three-dimensionally. Therefore, appropriateness of the basic pathway 1 is intuitively and accurately determined. Furthermore, by utilizing the minimum bending radius, it becomes possible to predict the realistic variation without requiring the complicated calculations.
