Abstract:
To provide a vehicle accelerator pedal device which avoids control failure of an engine caused by entry of water etc. and can eliminate a need of a cover.SOLUTION: A vehicle accelerator pedal device includes: a sensor mechanism 16 which detects a depressed amount of a pedal side arm 28 of an accelerator pedal 14 with an amount of pulling of a wire 20 connected to the accelerator pedal unit 14; a control part 18 (ECU) which controls a rotation speed of an engine; and a wire harness 22 which electrically connects the sensor mechanism 16 with the control part 18. The accelerator pedal unit 14 is disposed at a front part of a vehicle and the sensor mechanism 16 is installed below a seat 38 at a center part of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
