To provide a vehicle air conditioner that allows a filter to be reliably and easily inserted into/removed from a casing, while reducing the manufacturing cost for the filter.
A blower unit 14 constituting the vehicle air conditioner 10 includes a filter slot 34 provided on the flank of an upper case 20 to allow a filter 32 to be inserted therethrough. The filter slot 34 includes a first edge part 46 provided at the bottom and protruding from an end of the filter slot 34, and a second edge part 48 provided at the top. The second edge part 48 is set in an offset state so as to be located deeper than the first edge part 46 in a direction of removing the filter 32. An opening surface 54 of the filter slot 34 composed of the first and second edge parts 46, 48 is inclined. One end 32c of the filter 32 stored in the upper case 20 is exposed from the filter slot 34.
