Abstract:

To provide an on-vehicle antenna system that is placed in a spoiler 12 and capable of obtaining non-directivity within a horizontal plane with respect to a vertically polarized wave signal.

The spoiler 12 mainly made of an insulating resin is installed on a roof end of a vehicle body 10 provided with a rear window, and a T-type antenna feeding element 18 using the vehicle body 10 for the ground is placed in the spoiler 12. Large signal currents can be supplied to the vehicle body 10 including a rear pillar acting as the ground over a long distance in a vertical direction and the non-directivity can be obtained within the horizontal plane from the vertically polarized wave signal such as an AM/FM broadcast signal.
