To provide an on-vehicle antenna system which is excellent in antenna characteristics and design and is inexpensive without changing components or increasing the number of components in accordance with an installation place.
In the on-vehicle antenna system housing an antenna element an internal space of a housing 1 formed by inserting a mounting case 6, wherein an outer bottom face of a bottom plate part 61 becomes a mounting surface 6a into a decorated case 7, wherein an outer surface of a top plate part 71 becomes a decorated surface 7a, two types of an incorporating postures of the antenna system can be selected in accordance with the installation place. The antenna element is a patch antenna 2 made of sheet metal, wherein a radiation conductor plate 21 and a ground conductor plate 20 are provided side by side with a prescribed interval, when installed on a dashboard 4, the radiation conductor plate 21 is incorporated so as to face the top plate part 71, and when mounted on front glass 5, the radiation conductor plate 21 is incorporated so as to face the bottom plate part 61.
