To provide a vehicle body structure for fitting a pillar garnish 2 and a fender panel 6 which surely prevents the gap formed in the surface of a vehicle body 1 from being viewed as black.

This vehicle body structure includes the resin pillar garnish 2 fitted to the front surface side of the pillar of the vehicle body 1, the steel fender panel 6 having the end at the end side of the pillar garnish 2, and a seal member 3 for sealing the gap between the ends of the pillar garnish 2 and the fender panel 6. The pillar garnish 2 has extension parts 2b, 2c which extend from the end of the pillar garnish 2 toward the end of the fender panel 6. The fender panel 6 has a flange part 6a which extends from the end of the fender panel 6 toward the end of the pillar garnish 2. The seal member 3 is mounted on the extension parts 2a, 2b and the flange part 6a.
