Abstract:
To obtain a vehicle brake capable of improving the durability of a motion conversion mechanism while suppressing upsizing of the motion conversion mechanism, for example.SOLUTION: A motion conversion mechanism of a vehicle brake, comprises: a rotation screw member; a direct-acting screw member which is meshed with the rotation screw member and linearly moves between a braking position in which the braking member is in a state of braking the wheel, with rotation of the rotating screw member, and a release position in which the braking member releases braking of the wheel; two first franks provided on each of the rotating screw member and the direct-acting screw member, for transmitting the force between each other when the direct-acting screw member linearly moves from the release position to the braking position; and two second franks located axially opposite to the first frank in the respective threads of the rotation screw member and the direct-acting screw member. Only one or two first franks of the two first franks and the two second franks is provided with a recess into which the lube oil can be introduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
