The vehicle control device includes a first power source 32 converting accumulated pressure into traveling power of the vehicle 100 and outputting the same, and a second power source 4 converting stored electric power into traveling power of the vehicle and outputting the same. When a traveling load of the vehicle is large, the vehicle control device increases the ratio of the power output by the first power source out of the first power source and the second power source as compared with the case where the traveling load is small. As the traveling load is large, the ratio of the power output by the first power source may be increased.
