Abstract:
To provide a vehicle control device that can appropriately support vehicle behavior according to the driver's intention.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 10 includes a rotating electrical machine 12, a power conversion device 13, and a control unit 31. The rotating electrical machine 12 is connected to driving wheels of a vehicle. The power conversion device 13 applies and receives electric power to and from the rotating electrical machine 12. The control unit 31 controls operation of the power conversion device 13. In a lock state where the rotation of the rotating electrical machine 12 is stopped during energization, the control unit 31 supports execution of a predetermined operation by a driver of the vehicle for setting a rotation angle of the rotating electrical machine 12 to a predetermined rotation angle and starting of running of the vehicle by power of the rotating electrical machine 12 after the predetermined operation is executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
