Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller which can suppress shocks, even in a torque phase in which the change of an engine torque is expressed easily as a change in the output torque of a torque transmission mechanism or in the slipping state of a lockup latch.
SOLUTION: In the controller of a vehicle which has an engine, a motor- generator and a speed changer, an engine torque discriminating means (steps 3 and 5) which discriminates the change of an engine torque while the speed changer is in a torque phase and a 1st rotary machine control means (steps 7-10), which controls the motor-generator in accordance with the change of the engine torque, when the discrimination in the change of the engine torque is realized are provided.
